Hypnotherapy is an altered state of consciousness that, you allow yourself to enter with my guidance. You are in control throughout, are fully aware of what is happening, and can come out of hypnosis at any time.
Everyone has experienced daydreaming – perhaps whilst reading a book, watching a film or driving a car, that sense of naturally completing the task without really thinking about it, that’s a bit what hypnosis is like.
For the purpose of therapy, you are guided into a state of hypnosis. To induce you into this relaxed state, you will simply listen to my voice and follow what I am saying. Whilst the conscious mind is relaxed, this allows a greater access to the unconscious mind that is open and receptive to the new, positive suggestions given.
